Accessibility

We want property owners, guests and partners to be able to use this website regardless of how they access it. We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time task, and we aim to follow recognized accessibility practices as a reference point as we build and improve the site.

We have not completed an independent third-party accessibility audit, so we do not claim formal conformance with any accessibility standard. What follows is an honest description of what we have done and where we know we still have work to do.

• Semantic page structure, with one main heading per page and a logical heading order beneath it.
• Descriptive alternative text on images, and empty alternative text on decorative elements so they are skipped.
• Form fields that are programmatically associated with their labels, so screen readers announce what each field is for.
• Inline validation messages shown as text next to the field they relate to, rather than by color alone.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, forms and interactive controls, with visible focus indicators retained.
• A skip link that lets keyboard users move past the navigation straight to the page content.
• Text and background combinations chosen for readability, and layouts that scale when the page is zoomed.
• Reasonable tap-target sizes and mobile layouts that reflow to a single column instead of requiring horizontal scrolling.

• Some photographs on the site are temporary development placeholders and will be replaced with approved photography.
• Our Privacy, Terms and Accessibility pages are new. We expect to refine them as we review the wording.
• The owner experience preview on our home page is a non-interactive concept mockup rather than a working product, and it is labeled as such on the page.
• Third-party services we rely on, including our hosting platform and font provider, are outside our direct control.
